Multi-Agent System
An AI system composed of multiple specialized agents that coordinate via orchestration. Different from a single "big" agent - multi-agent systems split work by role (intake agent, qualification agent, follow-up agent) so each can be tuned independently. Multi-agent systems power most genuine "AI employee" deployments. Build cost typically $25K-$250K+; for SMB workloads, single agents almost always win on cost.
