GA4 (Google Analytics 4)
Google's event-based analytics platform that replaced Universal Analytics in July 2023. GA4 tracks user behavior across web and app, supports BigQuery export, and integrates with Google Ads and Search Console. Proper GA4 setup requires GTM, defined key events, UTM tagging for outbound, bot/scraper filters in Admin, and a free BigQuery export for raw event analysis.
